With this in mind, my approach is to embrace what is unique about your body and treat you as an individual. I will work with you to improve and restore your body, and help you become the best version of yourself through tailored massage therapy, and advice on exercise and lifestyle. Together we will develop a plan to maintain the new you and restore your wellbeing.

With soft tissue therapy massage techniques and myofascial release, I will create a treatment plan just for you; no matter what you do, whether you have a busy lifestyle, a hectic working schedule, sport related issues, or you feel your body just needs a boost, I am here and I can help you.

Working from a lovely treatment room at Yoga for Harmony in Windsor, I specialise in myofascial release massage which is a slow and often gentler approach than traditional massage therapy… however this doesn’t mean that it is less effective, in fact it is perfect for anyone wanting to release, improve and restore. I help my clients with soft tissue discomfort and to relieve them of aches and pains, whether they be big or small. I will take you on a journey of recovery where I begin by focussing on problem areas and work with you until you feel improved, refreshed and revitalised. I am passionate about the benefits of myofascial release and believe it can help you become the best version of yourself without the need for painful or hard massage. Whether you have a build-up of tension from desk work, you have a sports related injury or are preparing for your next sporting event, or whether you are just feeling overwhelmed and your body is refusing to work with you, I am here and I can help you. With a variety of approaches including sports massage, soft tissue massage, myofascial release and many more advanced techniques, I can relieve you of your discomfort and pain, and restore your wellbeing. When it comes to our bodies being in balance, posture is key. Posture is often taken for granted and overlooked, but it is far more complicated than simply standing up tall and straightening our shoulders. My techniques enable me to help you maintain good posture which in turn helps promote wellbeing in your body.

I am based at Yoga for Harmony in the heart of Windsor, where the treatment room has a beautiful, calming and tranquil space, that is separate from the main Yoga studio. It is the perfect space for massage.

HOW CAN MASSAGE THERAPY HELP ME?

Through this pandemic, it has become evident how much we need the human touch and how much we have missed it. For hundreds of years, massage has been a way to navigate our own body as it helps us become aware of discomfort and dysfunction; it alleviates aches and tension in our bodies while relieving stress in our minds.

I specialise in treating back and neck issues with techniques that connect your physical well-being with that of your emotional state of mind, creating positive results both physically and mentally. My aim is always to work with you and your body as an individual; I don’t apply a one treatment fits all approach, we are all unique and I treat you as such. At the beginning of every session together, we will talk through your reasons for coming to see me, and I will then take you through some assessments and treat you accordingly. If you’re unsure whether massage is right for you, give me a call and we can discuss your needs in more detail with no obligation. I am always ready to give advice.

SELF CARE SESSIONS AVAILABLE FOR 1-2-1 OR GROUPS

Over the last year during the pandemic when hands on therapy has not been possible, I have seen a rise in the need for extra self-care.

To help, I have developed a self-care programme on zoom, where I talk you through techniques to eliminate the most common complaints such as neck tension, shoulder pain and back niggles. If you would like to begin a self-care journey of your own, either on a 1-2-1 basis or on one of my group events, please get in touch.

With the return to offices and places of work, I also offer these sessions as corporate events too. Please note that my self-care events are not to replace hands on therapy but work alongside it, and are for those who are not suffering from serious injuries or health issues.

DON'T SUFFER WITH PAIN, WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO..

We will work together on your journey to restoration and recovery, from initial consultation and plans, treatments and follow ups; be assured I am here with you every step of the way.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the difference between sports massage and myofascial release therapy?

In one way you could say that it is actually the same thing. Myofascial release is equally good for sport as traditional sports massage. When referring to sports massage, most people think about long deep strokes in the area of tension. This type of massage can be beneficial under the right circumstances, but just giving the tissue a good rubbing down, is mostly good for pre and post events.

How many sessions to I need?

The number of sessions depends on so many things. Firstly if you have spent many years building up a condition, it might take several sessions before you even start to see a slight improvement.

Secondly it can sometimes be a matter of regular monthly maintenance rather than seeing me twice a week. Remember your body is different from my body.

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

It depends on what times suit you best. Have a look at my booking system to find the most suitable time for you.

What if I fall asleep during my treatment?

It happens sometimes when my clients are utterly exhausted, however I will not recommend it. The conscious and awaken mind, is more responsive of treatment.

Can I bring a friend or relative with me?

You are more than welcome to bring someone you feel comfortable with.
